Shasta County breaks record with 410,000 cannabis plants seized in 2008

San Francisco Chronicle with shocking (yeah right) news that in Shasta County, California, they’ve destroyed more cannabis plants in 2008 than in any other year.

More from SF Gate:

Local law enforcement agencies and California National Guard troops destroyed nearly 90,000 plants last week. That brings the total for the year to nearly 410,000 plants.

The seizures eclipse last year’s total of about 365,000 plants.
